FreeQ IDE

A freeware, open-source, text editor for the RapidQ compiler written in the RapidQ language. It runs under Windows (2000/XP/Vista/Win7). There are several built-in utilities and functions, a form designer, RapidQ to FreeBasic converter, debugger, and menu designer to make coding easier.

Although designed for RapidQ, you can easily set up the IDE to compile FreeBasic, HotBasic or just about any other command line based compiler. You can configure it to default FreeBasic compiling or as a simple Java compiler.

The editor uses the Scintilla library component (version 3.0.2) as the main editor engine and GoRC as a resource compiler. Additional support is provided for UPX and ResHacker utilites.

The source code is by John Kelly, Don Homans, Boris Holyguard, Andrew Shelkovenko, Natase Eodor, Jacques Philippe, Paul Ludgate, Oliver Ozohanics, David Burkley, Achilles Mina, V. Dobiasch, and the RapidQ community
